Finding Jesus in the Psalms: A Lenten Journey by Barb Roose.

Barb Roose guides the reader through a meaningful encounter with the Psalms through the season of Lent. Combining an interpretation of the psalms with real life stories, the study moves through the familiar words of Psalm 23 toward the painful cries of Psalm 22 uttered by Jesus on the cross. The study includes reflections on the life of King David and the original context of the writings, along with connections between the psalms and the life and death of Jesus the Messiah.
“The Psalms provide a perfect framework for experiencing Lent through the verses that were Jesus’s own scriptures, offering both him and us strength and wisdom in a painful and redemptive season. The Book of Psalms hums with the heartbeat of our humanity with divinely inspired words that find purchase in the tenderest places in our hearts when our human words or wisdom fails us.” Barb Roose.

Dear women! We invite you to take part in a special Easter project to help bring joy to children in need.

We will be preparing 30 Easter baskets for children served by Stamford Norwalk United with Immigrants Mutual Aid, and we would love your help. Please sign up using the link below to bring items for the baskets.

Everyone is warmly invited to join us on March 29 at 11:30 AM at the church, where we will gather together to assemble the baskets and create something special for the children.

An evening of service and reflection for families with children in grades K–8. Our project will be making package meals for residents of Malta House and sharing time for music and reflection. A meaningful way for children and families to serve, connect, and grow—together. Dinner will be served. Free to attend.

We warmly invite all men to join us for our Men’s Breakfast, held on the first Sunday of each month at 8:45 AM in the Wesley Lounge.

Enjoy a delicious light breakfast, meaningful fellowship, and an opportunity to connect with other men in our church community. Each gathering offers time for conversation, reflection, and sharing ideas about future events and ways to grow together in faith and service.

Whether you’re new to the church or have been part of our congregation for years, this is a wonderful chance to build friendships and strengthen our spiritual community.
